I'm looking for a new hard drive for my PS4 and I've now ended up with these two. Can either of you tell me the difference between these two hard drives?
I didn't really think of it.

The second SSD is a bit faster in terms of read and write speeds
Without necessarily mentioning the technical background.
The SSD Plus is rather slow when it comes to reading and writing many small files.
But still significantly faster than an HDD and you will probably not notice any difference with the PS4.
In the PC I would rather use the Ultra, or a Crucial MX500.
Especially in 4K reading & writing.
The lower one is a bit faster, is it worth the extra charge? Rather less.
The reading speed, the lower one is faster
Can't recommend the Crucial at all in 2021
Does that sound like a negative experience?
Without necessarily mentioning the technical background.
Do you still mention technical backgrounds?
But I didn't go into it too precisely.
Janein, I had 2 and one is still working, but it degrades much faster than my 4 sandisk and 2 Samsung - it's not faster either.
I suspect that they are simply doing the same thing as most manufacturers, initially installing decent parts - getting good reviews and downgrading after 1-2 years. I tested it with 2-3 colleagues who also have it on recommendation. And everyone who has an old part is faster than the new one. But I couldn't prove it with the sample size either - but I do know from reports that this is common practice with SSDs - so this is not particularly fetched.
I have one of these in my laptop and it works fine.
At least so far.
I've read too, that's why I'm asking about it.
Think of me when the day comes Lol
I will!
