Following situation:
Notebook: 1TB hard drive installed, 300GB occupied
PS4: 500GB hard drive installed, insufficient memory
both 2.5 "etc., so everything fits
how can I replace the hard drives now? So: both disks out and then back into the other device & play back backup.
I made a backup of both disks, of course
But since I don't have a cable to connect the hard drives to another PC and then delete them, I would have to format / completely delete the disks in the original device
anyone have an idea?
Well.
I wouldn't do it there
- Probably the 1 TB is slow, means longer download times + loading times
- Is probably a hobby shop that you don't want to run at all, and if it doesn't fit
- And your Ps4 system would be completely destroyed, you would have to somehow play the entire ps4 system on the 1 TB hard drive and start it, you have no guarantee that it will work at all.
It's best to buy an SSD or hard drive with USB for 20 euro, connect it to the ps4 and enjoy more storage.
