PS4 controller wireless on PC reacts partly bad?

I recently bought a Dualshock 4 Wireless and an ASUS USB BT400 wireless adapter. However, what strikes me when playing is that the controller sometimes reacts very delayed for a few seconds, but then seems to be recovering. Does anyone know why this is? The adapter is about 60-70cm away from the controller on the PC, there's often a thin table between them, because I often hold the controller under the table.
