I have a question

Can you connect a PC that needs about 1000w to a 12ver socket strip? 10 of the other socket are already in use of Ps4, switch, monitors, and much more. Of course I don't use them all at the same time, but I'm still afraid that something will burst or that the PC can't draw the full 1000w.

lo

When the bar has a corresponding performance. Usually it says.

Di

Such a power strip should pack 3500 watts so shouldn't be a problem

Ka

Overloaded power strips have often been the cause of apartment and house fires.

So don't hang too many consumers on a power strip.

sc

If it is quality goods, the power strip can handle 3600 watts. That should be enough. Is on the back.

But: Strictly speaking, most sockets in the wall are only designed for 10 A continuous load, that would be 2400 W. However, neither the PC nor the other devices will use their maximum power permanently.

so

It has nothing to do with the number of devices. But with the power consumption.

so

Calculate all line recordings on the bar together. 1000 watts can handle it. So PC + console + printer + screen + TV +++.

The continuous load should not exceed 2500W, briefly higher up to 3500W

Ka

Or so yes! 😊
