Jump Force with controller on PC?

I recently bought Jump Force on Steam. I was planning on playing games with my Ps4 controller. I can connect my controller perfectly and everything works. But it doesn't work in Jump Force itself. With a mouse and keyboard you can forget about Jump Force. Much too complicated. Does someone play with a controller on a pc? If yes how

You need a wired controller for the PC so that you can connect it to the USB then it should work

As I said, I connected the controller but it doesn't work in jump force
