Yesterday the ps5 was presented with trailers of some games (and as we all know trailers always look better than the game at the end it really is) and not even these trailers really impressed me… Horizon zero dawn 2 was a bit more unrealistic and colorful than the predecessor that was it already… For other games I saw only minimal graphic jumps… I also found the jump from ps3 to ps4 to be much smaller and more modest than the jump from ps2 to ps3 which was really good… I'm I too pessimistic? More realistic? What do you think there will be a good graphic jump from ps4 to ps5?
The jump from ps3 and ps4 is also big
the jump of ps4 and ps5 is small yes 4k60 I think should be possible and raytracing in addition whether that is such a blatant jump as minecraft raytracing I doubt
For many of the games presented, the gameplay came directly from the PS5 and was not recorded on the PC in the best graphics as was the case with the Xbox Series X gameplay, so I don't quite find the PS5 graphics but a lot better than that of the PS4 especially because of ray tracing🤷♂️
A higher resolution does not mean better graphics
You could also play tetris in 4k
But actually if you program it like this you will see a difference between low resolution and 4k
Better hardware doesn't automatically make better graphics. The important thing is that the new generation of consoles provide developers with better hardware to work with and then implement better graphics if necessary.
I can say: Just because there's a better system, with better components, does not mean that the game developers use these components 100%.
e.g. B, a good computer doesn't mean that all games look like masterpieces.
The developers of the games and Sony themselves are still at the beginning of the new generation, so of course they have to find out for themselves what is and what is not. In addition, almost only alpha versions were shown, the graphics are expected to improve over the years
