Playstation Plus Membership?

I have a question or rather a problem.
I have a total of 80,00 euro credit, for a game AND PS + membership.
Now I stand on the hose, because I thought I could do so without any problems, PS +. Does that mean the 8.99 euro are simply deducted from the balance. But if I want to extend it by one month, I will be redirected to a page of billing address update.
I just want to extend it by a month, this should be deducted from the credit in the Playstation Store.

And where exactly is the problem?

You have created a PS account, which runs in your name and with which, due to online purchase possibilities an address must be deposited.

If you ordered something from Amazon, you're not surprised why you have to give an address.

Maybe Sony would finally like to prevent the many fake accounts?

I honestly do not understand her answer. First and foremost I have been registered with Playstation or Sony since 10 years ago. Due to my professional situation, unfortunately I can't gamble much.
I had asked only one simple question. Why I can't extend a month, but this will be deducted from my balance. Instead, they want a billing address that I have never deposited. I basically do everything by Sofortüberweisung, that means I do not use PayPal or let alone a credit card. And my address has remained unchanged since then.

My PS account is probably around 10 years old. And I can remember times when fake accounts were created and non-existent foreign addresses deposited. The goal was to be able to shop in the foreign PS stores to access content that was not available or censored in their own country. Apparently, the whole system at that time did not even have a problem with it, if the fake address deposited in the account could not in the least coincide with the credit card.

At some point then Sony seemed to revise the whole system and credit cards, which obviously could not match the address stored in the account, did not work anymore.

But the players seem to be resourceful and come up with everything imaginable in order to avoid certain rules.

So, I'm assuming that the fact that you need to update your address before you buy is related to Sony's actions.

I know, as an honest user, one occasionally gets upset. But probably too many users are cheating and cheating that now simple subscription renewals can't be done quite anonymously.

I have deposited my correct address with my account since the beginning of the term. But was already asked to update my address… Was in connection with a major system UpDate. And even if I want to download, for example, the monthly PS Plus Free Game, I'm asked to collect my credit card data… Even if nothing is debited.

The whole thing will be related to the payment system in the PS store. Because to a valid online purchase, probably just an address belongs.

I really would not worry about that. Update your information on the console and everything will run smoothly again.

It is now quite normal that when you buy the PS store a little more often address and payment data must capture, as it was 10 years ago.
