May be familiar with the PS4.
Until now my son bought the PS4 Plus membership in the store and then entered the code in the store.
Now I got an e-mail from Playstation that the membership plus runs as a subscription and that you will withdraw it on December 7th, 2020.
I checked it on the PS4 site, but I haven't set up a payment method. My son is 11 and I don't want him to mess with the costs. Officially, however, the membership apparently expired on August 7th, 2020, so it was automatically extended.
If no payment method is now selected, the support can then debit the membership via the PN credit, provided there's credit on it?
I don't want to give my details for my child for security reasons.
If you do not cancel the ps plus subscription before the deadline, it will automatically switch to an ongoing paid subscription with a monthly subscription fee that will be deducted from your PSN credit.
When registering for the subscription, you must provide your payment information. The "Top up credit automatically" function is activated. If you do not have enough credit to pay the subscription fee, Playstation will add the amount to your credit using the payment method linked to your account (if available) so that you can pay the subscription fee. Your payment information will be saved for future orders until you delete them. You can deactivate the automatic top-up function via [Account Settings]> [Credit]> [Credit Settings] and / or delete your payment information.
As long as the subscription is running, the selected payment method will not be used to top up your balance and no amounts will be deducted from your balance without permission.
Yes, exactly and I didn't leave any account data or anything like that, and the automatic top-up of credit accounts is deactivated
According to my email where I got it, it should only be debited annually
