I have connection problems with the Playstation and unfortunately can't get through Google, maybe someone can help me here.
We live in a new building in Hamburg (built in 2018) and have therefore installed fast and powerful cables. According to our internet contract we receive up to 100 Mbit / s (download rate). When I run a speed test with my laptop (via WLAN), I always get 70-80 Mbit / s (download) so far so well. The Playstation unfortunately only reaches 8-12 Mbit / s (download rate). It is located freely in the room and receives the signal very strongly (80-85% signal strength). I then connected the PS4 with a Cat-5 Gigabit LAN cable. Now I receive 30-40 Mbit / s (download rate).
How can it be that I get faster connections with the laptop via WLAN than with the PS4 via cable?
I hope you have some smart tips and I hope my PS4 isn't broken.
I think the PSN is still pretty slow. I never reach my actual bandwidth from the ISP (400 Mb / s) there either.
