Does an HDMI cable that is too long affect quality and speed?

At the end of this year, Playstation 5 will be launched. I decided to get the digital edition because it makes more sense for me. I have already thought about where I want to put it and then present it so to speak. But this position is clearly away from my desk (on which I will play).
