I have a problem with the ps4 and the hdr play. My TV supports HDR 10+ have a ps4 (normal) and when I play HDR the brightness suddenly turns dark every few seconds during the game and then normal again and again and again every few seconds without end. What could be the problem?

With an OLED I would have guessed. I can't explain that with an LCD. On the PS4 all video settings to Automatic?
Yes, tried manual setting too, came out exactly the same. Can it be because the old ps4 HDMI cable does not support HDR?
No, I can't imagine the HDMI cable as the cause. You could still try all possible settings on the TV. Otherwise disable HDR on the PS, in my experience it doesn't make a huge difference.
With some games you can't disable HDR, that's the problem
But you can generally disable it in the PS4 video settings, right?
Is there a option that says macro dimming? If yes, turn that sh*t off.
