Yesterday I bought Skyrim and just started playing. I'd rather start again today, because I chose the wrong character for me ^^.
Can anyone give me some tips on how to best skate my char?
I would like to play with one-handed weapons, also with a shield.
Magic would not be bad, as well as the use of a bow.
I just want to get the best out of it and since I'm one of those who normally do everything skillfully, I need tips.
Have googled, but I do not think so blatant tips for what I want.
Khajiit are good thieves. Remember Khajiits can't wear boots. (less armor bonuses). Moreover, they are often (at the beginning) trusted by others less, since they are considered devious.
In principle, you can play all characters and hide accordingly.
Archers are in my opinion rather less good than beginners so it would be advisable to train an archer at the same time as a magician if you want to avoid melee.
Melee weapons and shield and bow contradict each other right at the beginning, since the corresponding putt assignments are sometimes designed for close combat at distance.
In the beginning it is certainly advisable to use magic, because with it you can heal yourself as well as others (freeze) and just keep your distance. And only as an 'emergency' to allow close combat. Even traps can handle it better.
Have fun with the wonderful game! One with Morrwoind of my absolute favorite games.
Thanks for the tips! Oh okay, I did not think that the char could not wear boots. This will be rather difficult for assassins with light armor. Then maybe I take the Waldelf, fits too, or?
Sounds good to what you wrote. But later I can play with bow, sword and shield or?
A few questions. Sorry ^^
Can you possibly give me tips about skillens? You understand what I want out. And what about the light armor? For example, if I'm in dungeons and can't prevent infighting, is it going to be critical?
And yes, the game has already spellbound me after 3 hours of gambling yesterday. I mean it can always be with newly purchased games, but yesterday I thought of it all the time during football and today at work, or think about it as you realize. Just the right game for me
No, actually khajiits are very well suited as Assasine, as it is more about assassination and ambush. Then boots are not really crucial.
You can play EVERYTHING. Each has its own merits and is more a player's thing.
Light armor (apart from the green volcanic armor, which you may not have at the beginning especially because of its value and rarity), there are, for example, Chitin armor, which are extremely light. However, these inferior armor have the disadvantage that they do not offer much protection and are not the best choice for melee combat.
Skillen depends on what you choose. As I said, I find a mixture of magician and healing easiest to implement, especially for newbies. An Assasin can be both archer and mage, as well as a melee. It's just a 'matter of taste', which you prefer.
In my experience, bows are rather bad at the beginning, as they do not do enough damage and melee combat is often inevitable.
Skill what you want to specialize on. Actually, everything is very understandable, in the skill tree, if you look at this more closely.
Just go ahead and see for yourself what you enjoy and what you get along well with.
As a tip, you should not wear too heavy clothing at the beginning, otherwise you can loot (loot) but you can have a high dead weight and the armor is usually mid-value.
Pay particular attention to enchanted items, these can be very helpful. EVERYTHING can be enchanted - so weapons and clothes! And if you go on, you can also enchant yourself (soul stones).
The game offers if you really want to do everything Months Long extreme fun and is not a thing of a day. So take your time.
Thank you very much again, but still have a little question.
Which armor should I wear as an assassin? If this chitin armor is weak and I get no better in the beginning. Should I just carry the heavy as long as I have a low level
With pleasure.
As Asssasine, you do not need Strong Armor - Chitin is enough. Daggers or short swords are usually the weapons of the assasin - so everything is easy. But also bows can certainly serve as a secondary weapon or.
As I said, right at the beginning you will find only inferior heavy armor - also rarer, since chitin are the most commonly found in the beginning with iron armor. The latter is inferior and brings only more weight that you really want to avoid.
Later you will find something like platinum armor, which are indeed worth a lot and look impressive and also protect - but are immensely difficult. As you progress through the game, you should soon be able to find volcanic armor and weapons that I think are the best.
In Skyrim almost all differences between races were rationalized. The only thing that makes a difference is the active ability, which is exaggerated in some and extremely weak in others.
For a magician, I would recommend you a Breton or High Elf. For a warrior an orc. For Assasine / Archer a Khajiit. In principle, however, it does not matter which breed you choose, because all have the same skillen and only slightly different starting values.
As for the advice with the skills… Vanilla Skyrim is not a complex RPG with God, where you have to think carefully before, how the Char should look like. As you play, you'll quickly find out which weapons are best for you, which you'll automatically use more often than the others. Consequently, the corresponding skill will grow the fastest, so you know where to put your perks. That's enough for the first character, and once you're in the game for the first time, you know how to experiment with new characters on your own.
Regardless of your weapon or armor, you should definitely level up Enchantment, Alchemy, and Blacksmithing to make good equipment.
Of course the boots can wear…
Beasts like Khajjiit can't wear boots or helmets. And please refrain from personal attacks!
Of course they can do that at Skyrim! What are you talking about?! Ever played one? Just because the NPCs do not wear any does not mean you can't do that as a player! And if I attack you personally if you tell garbage! You think you have a clue, but you do not have!
Um… Ever played Skyrim? Khajiit can very well wear boots, as well as in terms of rhetoric, no disadvantages with such a. Whether you play at the beginning archer or not completely latte, you can of course do. At higher levels of difficulty this is even the easiest way to start if you're quick to aim (which is not really that difficult). That close and long distance conflict each other is also not really true, you can already skillen both parallel, is then just half as fast. Starting with a mage is generally the hardest thing to do. Already quite good as a support, but you can also use healing potions and to slow down opponents with frost you have to invest some skill points.
What is most important in the character choice are the race-specific abilities, ie the bonuses and possibly the strength. You can safely ignore the starting values in the respective talent trees, they will not bring you anything. In fact, they are actually detrimental: The first few climbs in a talent tree are damn fast and easy, which are quasi-gifted EPs that you need for stage upgrades. And without stage upgrades, that is, without talent points, your high talent tree levels will not bring you anything at first.
You can google the racial bonuses and abilities of each race, I will not count them here now. Choose the most suitable for your style of play. Of course you have to like the Char otherwise.
As for the skillen: In Skyrim you are completely free, as far as that is concerned. At the beginning, you can try everything in turns without blocking your path. You already find what you most like. Melee, shield, spell, and bow together will not play you to the end, you'll probably confine yourself to one of two game styles. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages and everything is fun in its own way. Most of the time I play with the bow and act out of the secret. As soon as my creeping skills are good enough, I switch to stalking and stabbing. On my current gameplay in Enderal, I use a two-hander to fight in close combat, and in addition, I have a stealth dagger if it turns out.
PS: In Skyrim it is possible to learn ALL the talents. So you do not have to worry about getting everything a bit, but not right, in the end. If you try everything out at the beginning, it will not affect your strength in the endgame. For me in Enderal it is different, because the ascents are limited in talent trees, because you have to invest right in the beginning of the points in the right trees and can't subsequently change that. In Skyrim there's even a possibility to reset his assigned talent points.
