Does a payment method always have to be stored with a PlayStation subscription?

Don't find the thought so good. I want to buy the 12 months (5 euro per month) subscription, but wonder if you have to be a payment method in the settings all the time. Thought that after the first payment the system remembers where it should be debited and that you can then delete the payment method again. Namely, I want to prevent selected purchases. Or if I don't have access to the account for whatever reason. A colleague (friend) has my ACC on his Playse

No you can but you don't have to if you don't want to get a ps Plus membership card or ps now membership card
