Ps4 controller no longer connects?

And I gambled until 15 minutes ago then I wanted to try to connect my air pods to the controller because I had read something on the Internet and just wanted to test it

I went to Bluetooth in the setting of the ps4 (not where you connect with others) then there were my two controllers to choose from then went up to the one I'm currently connected to, clicked on disconnect for whatever reason I did that I really wanted to have the air pods connected and have no idea

And since both controllers can no longer be connected to the ps4, my brother asked me to turn the ps4 off and on and press the ps button with a USB cable on the controller. Hold long share and ps4 button pressed then it flashes then connect your controller to the cable and press the ps4 button once then it should work

I just did it as soon as I hold down the share button and press the ps button, it quickly lights up blue and white, then I plugged in the usb ran. The ps button is still pressed, nothing still lights up blue a few times and then off again.

Did you get the ps out of the plug and put it into something like that?
