I currently have a DSL contract from Vodafone with 100k mbits download and 40k upload.
While 1-2 people in the household are watching Netflix or other videos on the Internet, I have lags when playing Ps4.
Ps4 speed test shows 80k download and 31k upload. (LAN cable is terminated)
Can you change something now or do it so that it runs smoothly while playing?
My contract will expire in a few months. Do you have any suggestions as to which contract you could choose for it, so that it runs smoothly while playing despite the many streams?
There are 2 rules.
1.) The television has to keep getting bigger
2.) The internet has to keep getting faster
Faster Internet will probably not work, but try a different speed test provider or maybe this is due to the input lag of the TV… Console stop…
There are alternatives to DSL, e.g. Cable, LTE or fiber, but that is either slower or has other disadvantages such as being larger. If you get less than 90% of the promised service, you have a special right of termination or you can have the price adjusted. You would have to research the details yourself. If I were you, I would always take the cheapest at Check24, insist on the right to the lower price and always cancel during the contract period. If the new provider only accepts cancellations by post, always send it by registered mail with evidence and observe the notice period.
Thanks to Check24, I pay an average of only 19 euro a month for Telekom DSL 50/10 Mbit / s, and that's enough for the 3 of us continuous streamers.
If you like, then I would be happy to check for you what we can provide at your address.
Please fill out our https://www.telekom.de/...hilft-team once and I'll get in touch.
