PS5 120Hz compatible HDMI?

I ordered a PS5 that supports 120HZ, but I'm a little confused.

I would like to buy a monitor, I currently have two to choose from, the aoc c24g1 (24 inch) and the MSI Optix G24C4 (24 inch), both support 144hz. The PS5 is supplied with an HDMI cable. Can this HDMI label transmit 120hz even though the interface of the monitors has HDMI 1.4? Both monitors have a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels

I think you can count the 120FPS games on the PS5 on one hand in the future too.

You actually need DisplayPort for this. And make sure that the monitors have either G-Sync or Free-Sync installed (which the PS4 uses, I don't know), because 120FPS on a 144Hz monitor looks terrible.
