Since I have very bad internet at home (3K in the download and 0.5 in the upload), I want to grow another tariff now. With me on the road you can't get better internet than 50k. Currently I'm a customer of Telekom, there's a tariff where the normal Dsl line with Lte is supported (up to 50k in the download and 10k in the upload). With o2 there's only the normal line with the same values as with the Telekom. O2 is much cheaper than the Telekom, besides, I would have to buy a new box at Telekom. I do not have to o2, because it would work there with my privately purchased Fritz box. In addition, I play on the Playstation where I need as stable as possible Internet.
However, I'm very unsure which of the tariffs I should grow, because I do not know which would really arrive more (since not always the 50k arrive).

Are you sure that o2 has a 50 line with you, because most of the Telekom has the line network? Highest o2 has misplaced the wire in your street.
Otherwise: I also had hybrid from the telecom and never had a measurement below 45 MB.
If o2 uses the same line as now Telekom, then in the end will not arrive more than now. You get "up to". If the end of the contract is at hand and you just want to save money, then change the provider. But you will not get 50k over the same line.

With Telekom hybrid it is so that only in the DSL part a minimum range is guaranteed. How big would the DSL part be?
LTE is only switched on and of course it depends on how good the reception strength is and how high the wireless cell is. Telekom secures via LTE no minimum bandwidth.
If now the Telekom in the DSL part can switch only a very slow connection, O2 but you could turn VDSL 50, I would choose in your place O2. But I doubt that you can turn VDSL 50, if it is not about the Telekom.
