Telekom hybrid problems?

I have a telecom hybrid router with external antenna at home and a Speedport Pro at work. For both I have the problem that the DSL line only about 5,5mbit ago. The thing is, when I watch videos about Twitch then it buffs all the time. Do I then a speed test, it is often so in both routers that I have a download of 1.5mbit and an upload of 12mbit. Now and then I have about 30mbit down, but very unstable (clearly, can vary). Disable DSL I irgndwann other problems, which does not help me synonymous. I deactivate LTE I always have stable speed tests, but too little bandwidth. The telecom has no idea if I ask her and pushes it to the wireless or the router (sure, on both). Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

For the most trouble-free use, we always recommend the use of a LAN cable. No matter which connection, this is simply because WLAN is much more susceptible to interference.

With a hybrid connection, the challenge is that while you use a fixed DSL share that you only have for you alone, you share the wireless share with the other users on site. So, of course, it can come at peak times, which is far less important to you than at times when not so many people are surfing the mobile network.

Thanks to the external antennas, you have at least once at home optimized the reception. Also important is the location of the router, so that it is aligned in the direction of the radio cell that supplies you. In doing so, you can Support the DSL help app. It is also important that the router has a free orientation, so as few buildings / walls or similar in between and no other radio devices are in close proximity to the router.

Okay, but why should I switch the router if it is configured to an external antenna (which I have set with the compass). The thing is that it does not behave as it should. My hybrid connection makes such strange things as the download is sometimes very low and that is well below what the DSL line gives. If I turn off LTE then suddenly I have a stable line (constant 5.5-5.6mbit). And I have also installed extra Speedhomewifi 2 to rule out that the wireless spins. The same phenomenon is synonymous when I sit next to the router. There's only one more Wi-Fi network besides mine. What could that be?

You're right, at home with you, for example, No sense, since the reception there anyway over the antennas runs. Only maybe for the Speedport pro at work.

The challenge we have is that we can only guarantee the fixed bandwidth of your DSL line. The extra hybrid boost usually comes with that, but here we can't guarantee a minimum bandwidth because you're just sharing the mobile network with other users.

Where exactly do you read the values with the download? In principle, the DSL part should always be there and the radio part should switch according to need / utilization and, of course, available reception. A fixed LAN connection would be necessary at least to determine the values. And important is that you take the information from the router, not downloads or speed tests.

Of course, we can check the DSL share for you, if this does not correspond to the values of the order confirmation.
