Is it still worth buying DayZ for the PS4? Are many still playing it?
Many are still playing, but the game is no good on the console.
Quite buggy, performance problems etc.
It's worlds better on the PC.
Has never really paid off, not even on the PC. Is unfinished, does not work properly and still belongs in the early access.
There are much better zombie mods for Arma 3. And on the PS4, I recommend Days Gone.
Personally, I really enjoy it. However, it's only fun with friends, not really alone.
Without friends, every video game is corrosive, so multi player pvp. Then again it is too easy to win which is boring but just so much worse without friends!
Judging from my experience, the game works on consoles without any major problems. Sure, the terrain has to be reloaded from time to time, but on the whole it's fine. Of course, it's also a matter of taste.
