In my cell phone (Xiaomi Mi 8 lite), I have to constantly disable the WLan and reactivate it to make it work. Although I'm still connected to the WLan it just does not work. This leads to annoying connection bills when gambling or watching YouTube. It can't be located on the wireless because it works great on my old phone and my PS4. I've also noticed that when I cover my phone up (which happens while gambling and watching YouTube), I only have 2 lbs of Wi-Fi even though I usually have 4 Balcans Wi-Fi.
Could be that your smartphone between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless switches, and it falls on the "nose". Or even the router "wrongly" sends your smartphone in the range-poor 5 GHz. Nothing works perfect!
Solution idea:
If you have a dual-band router (WLAN with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with the same SSID), then some Android devices have problems with it.
Log into the router (configuration page of the router) and turn off the test 5 GHz WLAN completely, or give the WLAN for another 5 GHz only a different Wi-Fi name.
On your Android device, delete "your Wi-Fi connection" and connect freshly to your Wi-Fi (in the near range with 5 GHz, more distant with 2.4 GHz) best with the WPS-key on the router and the menu "press WPS-key" on the smartphone (This menu can be found in the list of WLANs).
If it works stably, your problem is resolved!
