What would you rather do?

Youtuber or Twitch livestreamer

Please with justification!

I would go out and enjoy the real life instead of playing or talking in front of the PC.

I would stream on Twitch. There you have much more interaction opportunities with the chat than on YouTube. In addition, YouTube is so confusing for streams.

Dear live streaming except you want to edit the videos and I find Youtube not so good anymore.

There's missing a 4th Answer: MIXER

um

Quite simply because Twitch has disappointed less in the past. I would only give YouTube a few more years if it goes on like this. There it would make no sense to build an existence.

YouTube is the world's most visited website after Google and the platform is still growing. Twitch is just 35th. The likelihood that the sink is much higher.

um

In which area is YouTube growing? Registered users, maybe. Not in advertising. Content creators have not been able to rely on revenue from YouTube for some time. This leads to changing the platform of many creators. Ascending trend. I enjoy using YouTube, but would not be able to rely on revenue as a creator. That's why I'm worried that in the future it will make less and less sense to publish good content on YouTube. I do not have to explain the result to you.

Twitch is a bit more transparent and just safer. So if I could choose either "possibly 10k with YouTube" or "definitely 5k with Twitch" I would rather take less, for sure money.

Of course, you can't just compare and contrast the two platforms like that, they finally put a very different focus. It's all about safety here. Twitch communicates clear rules, you stick to it, you get your money - very easy. YouTube has become a matter of luck as far as the rules are concerned.

Certainly you are never in this industry anyway. I'm happy with my job at a big company. I also know that money comes at the end of the month.
