PC broken = stream dead?

I reached 60 followers on Twitch in three days, so it's going uphill and I was really motivated. Then yesterday my graphics card broke, the shock for every gamer. Well, either a technician will get it repaired tomorrow or I have to expect a waiting time of 5-6 weeks.

Then of course I can no longer stream. I was so close to affiliate and now maybe that. Can't keep my followers informed, don't have a YouTube channel or anything else. Is that something like the end? So would I start at 0?

Ho

Take your cell phone and use it to notify them.

Then you now have enough time to deal with business registration etc pp.

You need this if you make money with your streams. Even if it's only 5 euro a month.

And right up front. You have to be 18 to do this.

So you should initiate your parents. Not that they fall out of the woods when you get mail from the tax office at some point, and the money want Erik who thinks that you earn millions with your streams.

Lo

First of all, congratulations on the 60 followers.

So, if the graphics card is not just by chance just loose, or the monitor cable is out, then it almost certainly can't do anything. Graphics cards are pretty complex stories that can't be fixed like an old lawnmower engine. Even if only one capacitor is flat, you can hardly "just do something" - unless that is obvious.

As far as your followers are concerned, experience shows that you don't start at 0. You lose a few followers, but most of them don't "clear their lists" even after a year. So I'll say after a few weeks you start again at 80% and with a few decent streams everyone will notice that you are active again.

Of course, you can leave a message on Twitch itself and explain what's going on. The thing is, practically no one visits your channel when you're not online xD

But as I said, not so bad.

With 60 followers, he's not even an affiliate.

But yes, basically you should either not take any money or take care of taxes and the like.

Think a lot of streams and have never looked at it. Even donations have to be taxed.

Jo

How come? I only have Twitch but I can't post a video there

Jo

Thanks for the kind words. How can I then pass the time I have my lockdown vacation no console no PC…

Jo

In theory I could thank you.

Lo

And could the technician help?

Jo

I don't know yet, you probably know that "Yes, he'll come tomorrow" "We have time anyway, it won't run away from us"…

Lo

Yes well, they have time.
