I want to start streaming or at least record gameplay once so I can cut and edit it later. Now I wanted to ask what I need and how I have to connect the whole thing. I already have a little experience with Twitch, I have already streamed directly from the PC and that records the stream automatically. But now I want to stream or record gameplay from the PS4 and I keep stumbling across the term Elgato. Do I need this device for this? At the moment I have the following hardware:
PC connected to HD monitor
PS4 connected to 4K monitor (predictive because of PS5)
How do I have to combine all of this so that I can record / stream?
You need NEN HDMI in device an HD60s from elgato does that, for example, I also can buy the new avermedia cards also work well
As far as I know, you have to connect the PS4 to the PC with a capture card and the incoming signal of the PS4 e.g. Catch in obs
