Second job as Twitch Streamer?

Hello short questions about the side job.
I have a solid 40h week job and have the opportunity to earn money for streaming through Twitch. I have to register a trade and tax the income, I know that, but how about times? I have read on the net one may pursue a side job only 20 hours a month, right? Watching the stream for 20 hours a month would be difficult. In addition, I'm then classified as "self-employed" and I believe that you can control times bad. Is there really a limit there?

Mind if you have enough followers. If you stream 90 hours for 10 people, it will not be a real win

Gu

Well, on average, there are 150-200 spectators. I think that can be worthwhile.

ag

Rather not… Mach still 1-2 0er turn

Gu

Ah yes.

For the typical earning opportunities (No.1 -3) you need a twitch partnership. First of all, if you are only present on Twitch, it may take some time to fulfill the necessary requirements, because they are composed as follows:

an average of more than 500 people at a time

Stream at least 3 times a week

the content must comply with the terms of use and must not infringe copyright

However, Twitch is also aware that many have been on YouTube for years and may have already built a big Followerbase there. So if you're new to Twitch, but old hands on YouTube, you can still apply as a twitch partner under the following conditions:

average views per video: more than 15,000

Subscribers: 100,000+

the content must comply with the terms of use and must not infringe copyright

Re

Unrealistic ideas you have there.
Assuming 150 viewers would all have subscriptions at a 50:50 sub-cost split of $ 4.99. That would be about $ 375 ahead of price & before tax.

But a fresh twitch partner usually does not get a 50:50 turnout, and of the 150 viewers, with luck, 10% will finish a sub.
With 15 spectators (10% of 150) you would vll. A profit of 10 euro or something underneath. Assuming it was a 50:50 stake.

There are also partnerships with a 25:75 & the other way around.
Big streamer make their money not only with subs but also deals with companies & Co. A streamer like Montanablack zb. Earned in the month between 5- & 6-digit.

Did I mention that the basic idea "I want to make Twitch for the money" can backfire anyway & the wrong thought is?
If you make as much money with Twitch as you currently do through your permanent or even more, THEN… You can think about becoming a full-time streamer. THEN you also have quite different dimensions of viewers & have been twitch partners for a long time. But in your case, until you have a Nobody on Twitch who currently has a few more viewers than a most small one. You are still one of many.

@ comp4ny thank you for so much text. But that was not the question. This is not about my income. Please read question above above.

Gu

But that is already old, in the meantime you are already offered a partnership with 75 spectators, but that's not what it's all about. Please read question above.

Re
Gu

I thank you!

Gu

Has your employer already approved this?

Gu

Yes, written permission is already there.

These guidelines sometimes come from the health insurance funds.

I was told I could only stream 20h a week. That's why there necessarily ask what they want. So with your KK.

Streams you more THEY COULD theoretically ask you to checkout. But does not happen often.

Remember that you possibly synonymous Rundfunkpflichtig or bist.

Gu

Thanks.
