Is YouTuber and Twitch Streamer the only job where you can always sleep in and work when, how and where you want?

Wh

Definitely no.

In these professions you have to post very creative content, and also very regularly. Editing the video sometimes takes twice as long as the recorded content. But no, it is not a single job where you can sleep in etc.

I know

Gr

You don't have to. See "Reaction Videos" There's often a 1: 1 effort to video length. Then there are content farms, where the effort quickly approaches 0.

These are not real jobs, they are just hobbies, if at all. A job makes you money and most streamers don't even make enough to make a living.

Many streamers make enough money that they can buy their own house. And from a certain size you can also live off it

ta

Yes, but that's maybe 5% of 100%.

That's why big streamers & Youtubers have their own cutters & usually don't do it themselves anymore. There's no time for that, especially if you want to meet deadlines or even have to.

Content creator is definitely a profession, but not a common one that can be learned through training. But it is a professional because you are self-employed.
Everyone who grows up today did it as a hobby. Today full-time because they live from it.

A job makes you money and most streamers don't even make enough to make a living.

As I said, you make money with it.
And sometimes enormously when you are tall. A big streamer or youtuber e.g. Earn as much in the first month as an average German earns in a year!
Some earn this in the first week.

Quite a few Youtubers or streamers can now call themselves millionaires or even multimillionaires. Shroud or Ninja as an example.
Montanablack has a 6-digit amount on the account. Valuables not included.

Here is a website with a list of professions where you can sleep a little longer.

Re

You can't "always sleep" when and how you want.

The work as a full-time content creator is not to be despised & many are not ready to go this way. Of course you can be enormously successful with it, but the chance that you can belong to the small percentage is slim.
