Which graphics card for 1440p?

I'm currently putting together a new PC (the i5 9600KF has massively disappointed me) and got myself for the Ryzen 7 3700X on an ASRock B450 Pro4 with 32 GB RAM 3200 MHz (yes, 16 GB is enough for gaming, but it will be even more be made with it) decided.

Now I struggle because of the graphics card…

First of all: I'm not one who needs 4K when gaming, WQHD would be nice with at least constant 60 FPS, while streaming over the computer in parallel on Twitch in 900p60 (no problem in terms of cable technology).

In principle, I struggle between the RX 5700 XT and the much more expensive 2080 Super. I'm open to other suggestions.

What are your recommendations here for e.g. GTA5, CoD: Warzone or the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077?

The 5700xt at WQHD should easily manage 60 FPS, I have my doubts.

Why the hell are you spending so much money on a 3700X when you're just aiming for 60 FPS? I would have rather invested more in the GPU…

As I said, the PC will do more than "just" gaming. It's also about streaming, video editing, producing music, etc… That's why the 32 GB RAM.

Define "more in the GPU". Do you mean a 2080Ti?

In terms of performance, the RX 5700 XT is comparable to the 2070 Super, but in terms of price you are much better served with the AMD. In principle, the RX 5700 XT is completely sufficient for you, a 2080 Super is not necessary.

You can also wait a few months and then take a look at the new generations of the GPU. GeForce is expected to come in September, and AMD should follow suit by November at the latest.

As for the CPU, you would also get by with a 5, your requirements do not necessarily require a 7 and the GPU would also be fired sufficiently with a 5.

Oh, I hadn't considered.

A 2080 Ti is likely to be an exaggeration (and above all an exaggeration) for WQHD 60FPS. A solid graphics card in the middle price range should meet your requirements (5700xt, 2060S). Everything is open up, of course, but price / performance is really a joke.

But I would still wait for RTX 3000 and RDNA 2 (next gen).
