I'm almost 16 years old and am considering starting live streaming on twitch. I don't do it for fame or with the goal of making money, I want to have fun and share the joy of gameplay with others. However, I'm unsure whether to really start. I have a lot of respect for being laughed at for it at school or among my friends or something similar. I would love to stream with facecam nonetheless. My question to you… What would you do in my situation? Do you have any advice?
You just have to see if you really find time for, because if you stream half-heartedly once a month it doesn't make any sense.
But do not reveal your address and do not yell "dare to come to me!"
I would first start without a facecam and see if you enjoy it. Then I would build up a small audience and only then stream with facecam, then it's not as embarrassing as if you stream with 0 viewers
I myself have a lot of respect for that you could try it first, you don't have to tell your friends anything and who it works so if you don't get any negative comments you can try telling your friends and see how they react
You could practice a little dry first. Record in front of the camera and then rate your videos yourself.
