I recently started streaming and have now been invited to the affiliate program by Twitch, my question is, since I have ALG 1, as I'm currently unemployed, I don't know if I will have my ALG reduced if I do that now I use the affiliate program because they want to know my tax identification number that you don't earn so much with twitch at the beginning, I'm aware, therefore I have to worry that the ALG1 will be deleted (because the employment office might classify this as a 'new job' or somehow) Something. Because I might earn 3-4 euro per month with the affiliate program. And then do I really have to submit a tax return every year? Can someone answer / explain that to me in detail?
That basically sounds like self-employed or freelance work that is carried out with the aim of making a profit.
You have to clarify with the regulatory office or with the tax office whether a reporting requirement is necessary for a few monthly sales.
Regarding the ALG you have to be careful that you don't pay more than 450 euro a month. Earning or not working more than 15 hours per week, otherwise you will lose your entitlement to ALG.
Do I really have to file a tax return every year? Can someone answer / explain this to me in detail?
Yes sure. These people are called tax advisors.
Because I might earn 3-4 euro per month with the affiliate program
That's wrong. You earn 0 euro and you will also be paid 0 euro.
and do I really have to file a tax return every year?
You first have to register a trade & also report this trade to the employment agency (the place where you get your ALG I). And yes you have to submit a tax return once a year where all income and expenses are listed. But since you will certainly not earn 22,500 euro per year, the whole is called EÜR (income-surplus calculation).
