Tax on Twitch without withdrawing money?

I started streaming on Twitch. My goal is to become an affiliate, but NOT TO EARN MONEY but because I enjoy it. Assuming I achieve affiliate status… Do I have to pay tax on the subs etc. Or file a tax return if I do not have them paid out? (Since you can have the money paid out on twitch, I assume that this is possible) Feel free to ask if I have explained this to you so well. Looking forward to answer.

Even if you don't let it be paid off, it's your wages in the sense and so you have to pay tax on it because it's in your possession.

we

As soon as you "land" even one cent "in your account", a business must be registered. From 450 euro it has to be taxed.

we

No. Not correct. The Twitch GDPR states that it should only be registered as soon as you pay it out.

Un

So 450 euro on twitch or 450 euro that I paid out?

Bu

Yes, you have to pay tax on the income, because once it has been credited to you by Twitch, you can freely dispose of it. The time of the actual payout is irrelevant. However, taxes are only due if you have earned more than 9,408 euro in total.

Bu

The 450 euro limit is only relevant for a mini job and that is not the case here.

we

450 euro, which you then pay out.

we

Of course it's here. First left the GDPR from Twitch

Bu

Too bad, but German tax law is not based on the Twitch GDPR

Bu

Boy, that's as relevant as reading Benjamin Blümchen through. The only relevant thing is the Income Tax Act

Eg

I do not believe that Twitch registers the questioner at the mini job center.

me

Um, the Twitsch GDPR has about the same meaning for German tax law as a national border for wind

me

From 450 euro it has to be taxed.

is where?

Wrong statement! It is taxable from the first CENT!

me

Cool thing!

So you say the Twitch GDPR are ABOVE German tax law? (which is absolute nonsense)

why do you answer, even though you have NO idea about tax law?

Pu

Moin, you can become an affiliate, yes.

But you don't have to set it up.

The disadvantage is, however, that you can't add multiple emotes or anything else, all you then have at most are the channel points.

Un

Oh really? I didn't know that thank you!

Pu

Yep
