I've been streaming on Twitch for a week and it's going pretty well, 24 followers and 4 viewers on average.
However, there's someone who has the same name in English, who has been streaming for a week and is growing much faster.
He got 180 followers in one week and now has an average of 30 viewers per stream.
We both do the same content, but it ranks high on a large server, which is why it is growing so fast.
He claims everyone that I'm his faker when I'm not.
My name has been that since 2015 and his name only since 2019.
However, everyone believes him because he has more fans and is growing faster and faster.
Ne idea what I can do?
Avent, I can advise you to contact a supporter IMMEDIATELY as this is forbidden.

You will probably have the problem that his fans will hardly be convinced. You could of course give it a try if someone comes up to you. But don't waste too much time on defending yourself forever. On the contrary, it could make you seem weak or guilty even if you are not. Instead, maybe leave it with a short comment and just ban the users to your channel.

He claims everyone that I'm his faker when I'm not.
You could briefly describe your situation to the streamer and ask them not to spread this untrue claim.
If it should take on larger proportions that disrupt your stream, and for which he is responsible for his allegations / incitement, you could perhaps also point out to him that he is to some extent responsible for his community. (But I would only mention it if he doesn't respond to your friendlier request and you shouldn't get along otherwise.)
A look at the Twitch Community Guidelines provides the following section:
To what extent am I responsible for my community?
Creators are role models and leaders of the community they create or maintain. Creators should consider the consequences of what they say and the actions of their viewers; we ask that you make genuine efforts to suppress any attempts by community members to harass others.
Twitch may not be used to incite or encourage, promote, facilitate, or organize hateful behavior or harassment on or outside of Twitch. We will lock down communities, organizations, and individuals who do this.
You can find more information in our article about
https://www.twitch.tv/...arassment/.
Thank you very much for your detailed answer!
I wrote to him in a friendly way and I'm curious what he'll answer!
