I have an annoying problem with my internet.
I have a 100k line but only one device can be in the Wi-Fi, otherwise ping spikes occur (100-400) If someone in the family watches netflix, for example, and I'm at the PC while it is, it is impossible to gamble or even stop twitch streams / YouTube and buffers every now and then.
My router (Fritzbox 7430) is on the ground floor and my PC is one floor below in the WLAN. Of course, I got myself a Wi-Fi amplifier (devolo 500) because I was aware from the outset that it would be problematic if I was connected to the Wi-Fi one floor below. Despite amplification and prioritization of my PC in the settings, as soon as someone is on the internet it starts to lag
Would be really nice if someone could give me some tips
There's not much to be done. A repeater practically halves your speed. If you have the option to switch to 5 GHz and there's a stable connection, then you should give it a try
Ok, I'll try, thanks.
How do others do that who live in one house and want to surf the web with several devices at the same time?
There has to be some solution, right?
