Should I take the risk (twitch)?

First of all, I would like to apologize… I'm drunk because I had my 16th birthday today / yesterday. I'm sorry for spelling mistakes.

I have been dreaming of a life as an influencer for a long time and my passion is gaming… I thought about starting with Twitch and building a career like this and I need help evaluating it. I have 500 euro available and would like to buy a facecam and a better microphone for 200 euro so that I can start streaming. I generally need a new microphone. But now the contras that speak against streaming: how will my surroundings react and will they laugh at me? And is it wasted money to buy the setup. Ps my pc: i7 3770k a gtx 1080 ti and a 500gb ssd… Is the setup suitable?

Put on a mask then nobody knows who you do that

I don't think it is wrong to invest money for hobbies. Nobody can tell you whether you will be successful. Better spend your money on hobbies than alcohol. In addition, do what you want and think what your environment thinks of it shouldn't be that important.

And what if your surroundings laugh at you? They all do it out of envy. So do your thing and trust, believe in yourself. If you know the stories of the YouTubers how they got there and what a long way they had.

I don't actually spend money on alcohol and I don't drink anything… As I said, birthday… And thanks for the answer, I think I'll order the equipment tomorrow… If you have any experience… What is missing from my setup?

Why should he hide and be ashamed of it?

Ro

Before I forget it happy birthday, sorry, unfortunately I do not know about the area

So… Calling streaming a career is actually a no-go at first. You can only really call this a career from a certain income, if only harsh. And until you have that certain income, you have to do a lot. Join a network that has a few thousand subscribers, etc. PP. I wouldn't give up the dream, but I would rather find a secure source of income first.

But on the whole, both of you are silly, your hardware specs are quite good so far, only the RAM memory is missing. I would not start directly with a Facecam, you never know what creatures are on the Internet, especially those who stalk smaller streamers / YTers.

Despite everything, good luck with your dream of becoming an influencer. It won't be easy, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you ^^

Sources of income are not so necessary in the next few years… I'm on my way to graduation and will study afterwards and luckily my dad earns enough to finance it, which I'm very grateful for so I thought it would be not bad and so sidehustle maybe it works… Why shouldn't I use a facecam at first? I have no problem showing my face and with Facecam you establish a good connection with the audience

You can also start a good bond with viewers without a face cam. At least I personally would not use a Facecam, I stay pretty private with something like that. Whether you want to use Facecam is up to you.
