Playstation 5 or controller defective?
My PlayStation 5 controller is unfortunately broken on R1 and R2, they can't be pushed in. As far as I think you can fix it if you screw it on. Now to the real problem:
The controller works perfectly with the Ps5 except R1 and R2, BUT when I'm in media (Twitch, yt, Netflix etc) only the PS button and the mute button work, I can't do anything in any medienapp, neither to the right nor x triangle garnix only PS button.
Is that the Ps5? What can I do

It has nothing to do with the PS5
It can also be a software issue with the PS5. The console is relatively new, there are still a lot of bugs and errors.
It's best to report it to PlayStation Support at Sony:

You have a guarantee on it, write to the seller how you can send it back or, if you bought it at Saturn, etc., bring it there. Do not unscrew anything yourself, you can lose the guarantee.

You can try it. Better still, if necessary, set up the system software again.

Is it new, simply set up the system software again by setting or using a USB stick?

The problem can be software-based. I don't think so. Not everything can be fixed with the software. Especially not at Sony with their "great programmers".
I would send the controller in. Or have it repaired or a new request. If that works with Sony. Who knows are often broke and such.
