Why come Instagram, Twitter, twitch, snapchat. All from America?

Just about everything that works and succeeds in the online world comes from America. But why? Why is nothing coming from Germany or Europe which is so successful?

And by the way, German companies are very happy to sell their technology and research results, in which they invested decades of research, to other countries, only then to get offers from these countries to acquire licensing rights to use the patents now acquired by the buyer allowed. And of course, Germany refuses to pay license fees for their own research, whose patents they have resold.

EDIT: In the US, the state actually intervenes when companies want to sell ideas, research, etc. Abroad. That bans US just completely dull. In germany, however, there's a mixture of free and social market economy, as no one interferes, if a group wants to sell their technology abroad.

just has both advantages and disadvantages. But if it goes on, no wonder that nothing really comes from Germany.

In germany, a lot of research is being done. And that's just being sold abroad. Too bad.

For many reasons. Words outlining:

better infrastructure
more "manpower"
other laws which in part make it easier for companies to do things which e.g. Not to be implemented with European law
"Founder Spirit" - that is, other ways of dealing with "new things", casually summarized as "less skepticism". Since then money from investors seem to flow much easier…

The people here should also be much looser towards independence. They are all too scared and worry too much, counting all negative thoughts instead of thinking positively and just doing it. People in America are much more open-mouthed and do their thing. Too bad it is not here. Everything is seen too skeptical. And if it does not work… Well, you've tried and learn from the mistakes! Hmm
