Personally, I only play PC because I currently have a very good one. I own the Xbox One and 360. I know Ps3 and PS 4 from my brother.
I would choose Xbox.
The exclusive games like Halo and state of Decay appeal to me more.
Xbox Play anywhere, currently a program without competition and absolutely good.
Controller is better.

The console war of the 8 generation has clearly won Sony. Even if Microsoft has followed up with the Xbox series X on the high console standards, it was only a year ago that it was able to assert itself so far. The Ps4 had the better exclusive titles, it was powerful and inexpensive and PS Plus has really great free games.
Microsoft now has their Xbox game pass and compatibility with old games from the old generations, accessories so that you can use your Xboxone controller with the new generation, as well as that you can switch between PC and Xbox and many exclusive games come out on PC that stronger conosols for the next generation.
A few reasons why in retrospect Xbox still won in my eyes and quite a better position than the Ps4 now.
