I don't know anything about computers at all. Don't even play on the tablet. My two children: girls 10 years and boys almost 6 years want to get a little new work in the 5 weeks they have to be at least at home now. You would like Just Dance as a game.
Have now seen on amazon: https://www.amazon.de/...07XVMKV6G/

You can get this just dance for both. But others think you should only take the PS4 because you can do a lot more. E.g. If you want to do something with V3 glasses. Isn't that possible with the xbox one? What are the differences? What more can you do with the PS4 than with xbox. For the mega price difference, more should actually be expected. Can you also play together with both?
Roughly speaking: Xbox and PlayStation are like Apple and Samsung or IOS and Android.
they are both game consoles, some like more, others like. Games are almost always available for both, but some have exclusive titles (games that only appear for PS or only for Xbox) - as well as apps that are only available for iOS but not for Android and vice versa.
I would recommend PlayStation, but then a used PS 4, because in winter (before Christmas) the new PlayStation 5 should appear and there's now no use in investing in a new PS4. Microsoft is also planning to launch the new Xbox this year if Corona doesn't mind.
So, the difference lies with the manufacturer or producers.
Xbox comes from Microsoft. They wanted to offer a competitive product to the Playstation and Nitendo.
Playstation comes from Sony, one of the largest TV and hi-fi producers. They have also been making cameras (DSLR / CMOS) for a long time.
Both use or must have an internet connection to log in to update both the console and games. Unfortunately, I do not know whether it is mandatory.
Both actually offer a lot of different games. These are often bought on CD / DVD - but can also be bought via the console in a store (your own platform / presentation). The games are then downloaded and installed there. Costs around 50-120 euro - depending on the type of game and producer / distributor.
However, Fortnite is unsuitable for your children - because you have to shoot. Minecraft is something.
The most common console is and remains the Playstation at the moment.
An internet connection is not always required for PlayStation. Unless you play games online. So you can also disconnect the PS from the network and still play (depends on the game).
You linked an XBox console and a pair of PSVR glasses. Of course you can't compare them.
But basically it is the case that the PS4 is the higher quality console. Right from the start, the XBox One was neglected because of inferior hardware. And now more than 6 years after the release, the XBox really whistles from the last hole in terms of performance, while the PS4 still copes quite well with current titles.
For Just Dance you need a camera, but I'm not sure. As far as I know, the PS4 camera is much cheaper (?).
You get a new PS4 in the offer for 200 euro, XBox a little cheaper.
