I recently got a xbox one x donated and inside was a controller… Do I have to buy the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows or can I also play with the xbox one x controller?
(a yt tutorial would be good)
Following:
Go to start
Go to letter E
Go to "Settings"
Go to "Devices"
Then click on "Add Bluetooth or other device"
Go to the very bottom box "All others"
Wait until the controller is visible
Connect…
But I have no Xbox wireless adapter… So you can do it with the adapter
Did you already try it? If your computer has an intigrated Bluetooth antenna and the Bluetooth driver (s) then it should work without this adapter
Unfortunately, my pc does not have a bluetooth option

There are external Bluetooth USB sticks that are much cheaper than the wireless adapter from Microsoft. Alternatively, you can easily connect the controller with a standard MicroUSB cable if the cable does not bother you.
