I got a new Sorround system and now I want to connect it to the Xbox. However, it only has one aux cable. When I connect this to the Xbox one, there's a loud hum from the boxes. Do you know how to solve this problem and how I can connect the system to Xbox one?
What kind of system is that? You won't get real surround with Aux either. It should have other degrees.
Because of the humming, just google for aux hums. There you will find the explanation and possible remedy.
You can't connect them via AUX and, as a user has already written, you do not get any surround sound.
If the system, and since it is new, it should have an optical input, you can connect the box to it. Alternatively, you can continue to run the sound via HDMI on the TV and connect the system to the TV.
