Ps4 or Xbox?

Which console do you think is better? And why?

I'm the ps4 guy!

ov

PS3 and PS2. I have a PS4, but if I play games on the PS3 or PS2. The PS4 is currently not even connected.

I can't do anything with XBox. Has no exclusive games that I like / know. I grew up with the Sony console.

Especially since I find the XBox controller to be miserable to use.

I have only had good experiences with the Ps4 so far and it is therefore highly recommended, but I also have a Nintendo Switch, both of which are very good for gaming, the Ps4 is when the player is rather alone and Dan plays a couple with higher graphics, the switch is more for playing with friends

Al

Loyal XBox fan, but not one who goes to the PS people because of that. Both consoles are good, in the end it's a matter of taste. There are some games for PS that are not available with the XBox and vice versa, better inform yourself. A gaming PC is not a wrong choice either

Ze

I use my Xbox One S to watch 4K Blu-rays, but play rather little since most Xbox games are now also available on the PC.

The PS4 has some cool games, but I haven't turned them on for a long time. Most games are just single player actions games.

Ab

I have answered the question so many times elsewhere, which is why I'm now doing the copy-paste move: (in relation to another question, the text seems a little bit torn out of the concept)

The advantage with Xbox is the backward compatibility, so I can continue to play all my 360 games, or even play oldie goldie (Xbox Classic) games, such as Star Wars Battlefron II from 2005. Is even digitally available, and even cheaper (10, - €) as if you ordered the disc from Amazon, for example (30 to 60 euro - used, in acceptable condition… -NO.)

Then there's Play Anywhere. Have you ever had a Win10 PC? Respectively. Are you going to buy one soon? If you get titles like Forza Horizon 4, Halo Wars 2, Subnautica, etc., whether on PC or Xbox, the games are available on both systems after 1 purchase. Not all supports that, but if you see games in the store with the slogan "Play Anywhere", then you have the Xbox and PC variant with one purchase.

Then we have the better crossplay support, which was used earlier on the One than on the PS4. Sure, Sony also had crossplay, for example in Portal 2 between PS3 and PC, but that's not exactly world-shattering. At Microsoft, One went much faster, still cooperated with Nintendo, and created a great crossplay ecosystem. At Sony you only got excuses and / or lies slapped in the face. Sad. After all, sony opens up, but only very slowly, and only with big developers, small studios have a harder time, and usually only get rejections…

But think about what you find better and ask your friends which console they have.

I never had any problems with Xbox, I never agreed to Playstation because of its policies.

Copy-paste end.

another addendum: with all my friends who own a PS4, PS4 Slim or a PS4 Pro, I could hardly talk properly with the people, because the PS consoles were always as loud as a fighter jet. With my xbox one X, which has just as little ventilation, you hear nothing. What kind of fan does Sony install?!

Al

Wait from ps5 will come, then you will make an undecided decision.

Ab

No definitely not. I want to continue playing all my games on the next Xbox, so a PS5 won't convince me in the least. Already in 2013 (after Microsoft backed off with its snap idea about DRM, Always On, etc) I was more convinced of the One than the PS4. - After that even more so as the Xbox One got the backward compatibility added. Sure, the PS5 will now have such features. But what use is it to me if I don't even have a PS4? And thanks to the Ar * chkriecher service from Microsoft, which aims to meet our expectations, I can hardly turn away from it. Not to mention the better servers.

I like opening companies, but sony has been cheating on crossplay lately, and is not exactly a company that is learning from it. But that's just my opinion… 🤔
