XBOX One Controller only works on the cable?

I bought a new wireless XBOX controller for my PC. Everything works perfectly when it is connected to the PC with the cable. Only when I try to connect it to the PC without a cable does it not turn on (or does not light up and can't be connected). I've already changed batteries.

Pl

Do you have a Bluetooth receiver on the PC at all?

Er

Yes it works too, only the XBOX controller does not start without a cable and is also not displayed

Ou

Goes via Bluetooth or Xbox adapter. Otherwise you will find a small button on the top of the controller. Simply press for 2 seconds until it flashes and then pair with Bluetooth. Finished.

As DerOtti already wrote: Nothing works by itself. If you want to use radio, your PC must also support this radio and maybe it doesn't or you only have BT for other devices.

Pl

But you already use the Bluetooth mode on the controller or?

Er

I know I have a Bluetooth adapter. However, the controller does not start at all, or does not flash.

Er

What do you mean? Have I ever used it via bluetooth? No

Ou

Then change the battery. Otherwise, take guarantee or gamble via USB cable.

Er

He does, the problem is the controller that does not turn on or can be connected without a cable

Pl

I find it pretty strange that the controller doesn't even come on. Which one is that exactly? Do you have a link from it?

Er

The normal xbox one wireless controller

Pl

Stupid question, but do you have the batteries in the right place? If so, I would make use of the guarantee. It may also be broken.

Er

Yes, even changed twice.

Pl

It should normally just flash when you also press the Xbox logo. So I think the controller is broken.

So just to be on the safe side: You have been pressing the X-Box button long enough, have you? 3 seconds?

Does the pc have bluetooth?
