Gta on PC with PS4 controller? - 1

So far I've always been able to play with ps4 gta on pc only when I came on yesterday it didn't work and it didn't work with another one only with the Xbox controller it worked, does anyone know whether it is only possible with Xbox controllers?

It also works with ps4 controllers but you need a program for that I use ds4 http://ds4windows.com/
