I own several controllers of my Xbox 360 and the One.
The one white controller (completely white, one of the limited edition Xbox 360 Slim I have) is completely yellowed. I want to clean it with isopropanol, but since I have recently seen several versions with different percentages, I wanted to ask what percentage at least sufficient? 70%, 80%, or rather 99.9%?
P.s: I also want to clean the white thumbsticks of my one-controller created by "Xbox Design lab"
You only take "technical isopropyl". Do you get in the pharmacy, but require the technical. Should be> 90%. Everything else is mixed with water, you do not want to have that on electronics.
I take the controllers apart. And separate the outer plastic parts from the boards.
I would take at least 95%.
You do not want water on electronics if it is to be avoided.
Should not cost the world.
Then dump water on it. If you think. I would take that 90%.
I take the controllers apart carefully and separate the plastic parts from the boards.
But isopropanol does not make it yellow again. This is really only for cleaning.
Eigendlich already. I have researched extra on the internet.
Then you do not have to take any isopropanol. Can you do that with soap too.
Search Youtube, e.g. :
Then what you researched is wrong.
If you're already taking in diluted hydrogen peroxide and UV light (ie reaching into the sun), that helps
I point out protective gloves, glasses and good ventilation. For the sake of form.
That's right, of course. But it's not more dangerous than bleaching hair.
But with peroxide, especially when it's not diluted further, that's even more important.
I found it here: https://psxtools.de/index.php/Thread/69371-Vergilbte-Konsole-wieder-Wei%C3%9F-bekommen/
Joa, and there have a lot of peroxide recommended. Isopropanol just stops cleaning, it does not fade.
He can test it. But I would only use the high percentage.
Then I take isopropanol with 99.9 percent. - Many thanks for the numerous tips, I will send you pictures of the controller soon, before, and after the isop cleaning.
