Have a little question:
and I will soon get an Xbox Wireless Controller but without the associated adapter. My motherboard (Msi B450 Tomahawk Max) also has no Bluetooth.
It pays to get the original Xbox adapter, a PCi extension, or a small one from Logilink for example.
thank you in advance
(Please with reasons if possible)
Simply a USB Bluetooth adapter, costs 10 euro or so. But I would inform myself whether this is possible at all, if necessary the controller on the PC only works with a cable. At least that's the case with mine, but it's older.
I would recommend this: https://www.caseking.de/gigabyte-wb1733d-i-wlan-bluetooth-5.0-adapter-pcie-802.11ac-zubt-006.html This is dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 on a PCI Express card.
You have to install the supplied driver CD, otherwise it will not run. If you do not have a drive, the driver's download link is also included in the instructions. You should download it before installation. After installation, simply install the driver with a double click. In addition, an external high-performance WLAN antenna is included which can be aligned.
I have this in my self-made PC and I'm completely satisfied with it. If I connect to the router via WLAN, I have about 10% loss compared to a network cable. Thanks to the Bluetooth 5.0 standard, I have a 4 times greater range than Bluetooth 4. This card is also downward compatible with the older standards.
