USB cable does not connect Xbox Controller to the PC?

When I run my Xbox Controller to the PC (through a USB cable), it does not vibrate and does not work alone. With other cables, that was possible, only one of them was broken (do not ask why). If I get now a new cable on which I have to pay attention I already ordered a very cheap cable from China which I believe was built only for the purpose of charging and therefore did not work (was also very cheap).

It is very likely that the cable was designed for charging devices only. Try to buy a slightly higher quality cable, because this usually lasts a bit longer…
