Nintendo Switch HDMI to USB-C cable with TV does not work?
I have a quick question. My docking station for the Nintendo Switch broke, and then I looked around for a good question. And I read a post that you only need an HDMI to USB-C cable to connect the switch to the TV. I ordered the cable but no picture appears on the TV and there's no connection. Was the post fake or is the TV too old for that? Thanks in advance 🙏

No, I mean that I want to transfer the image from the switch to the TV, so you need the Stadium
The switch can't output an image via USB unless it also receives power at the same time. Your cable alone will bring you nothing
Third-party adapters that can both supply power and output images are known to make the switch unusable (it started with system update 5.0) - the safest option is to run with the original dock.
