What do you do when the internet goes down?

What do you do if the internet goes down for a long time, let's take a few months. How do you react or what do you do instead? I would probably turn on the dusty Xbox, but you know the games inside and out. Maybe buy new ones zum Fortunately, I still have my garden and my dog, that's probably still possible.

I can be good without the internet. I like reading a lot and I'm outdoors a lot, etc.

Complain to my provider and ask for an alternative. After all, I'm professionally dependent on it. With 1und1 I had such a case (but only for 2 weeks), then I got a stick with a SIM card available.

Would be a limitation for sure. Then I would just read books…

internet is nothing more than a large network of servers. Nothing is "charged" there. Access to the internet is usually wired via a house connection (DSL, cable) or wirelessly via cellular network.

if the house connection is gone (e.g. You have moved) there's still the possibility via the cellular network. Is both gone you have to stop looking for other options at the provider.

the internet itself is dead, so all servers, complete blackout… The whole country has a huge problem because there's pretty much nothing more.

I panic and make every effort and expense so that I have internet access again as soon as possible!

If the internet were to be down for so long, I would rent a room somewhere - a hotel room - where I have internet!

However, there's no internet addiction behind this! I'm self-employed and work on the Internet. If I couldn't work for a few months now, I'd have a huge problem!

That will not happen. The internet can't go down by definition, except in the event of a global power outage. But then we have other problems.

Introduce yourself. You live in the country and the internet is the next big city. Just because the street will then be torn down in front of you does not mean that the city is also dead. You just have to find another way.
