The downloads load on the gaming laptop to 4MB / s, but on the Xbox with 40 or 50 MB / s
Both with Wi-Fi
What could be the problem?
I think you are confusing what is displayed on your PC in MB / s. And on your PC in Mbits / s.
5 MB / s is approx. 50 Mbits / s
No, I already looked at it, the games are definitely slower to download, it already had 1.7 KB / s
It could be due to the distance or that your PC has a bad WLAN chipset.
Hmm thank you in any case for trying to help.
The pc is next to the xbox so unfortunately it can't be because of the distance (it would be nice)
The pc (or gaming laptop) is brand new, can it still be due to the wlan chipset?
It depends on the platform at the moment many platforms servers have problems due to the heavy load.
Unfortunately, this is not only the case today: /
Yes, unfortunately.
But it would be unlikely. Have you ever tried using LAN to rule it out?
Phew unfortunately there's no LAN cable, with the xbox never had any problems with the download via Wi-Fi so I thought the laptop would not do either.
Do a speed test next to the router and your current room and post the results
Different bandwidths for the devices could have been selected in the router, even without you or someone else having changed anything, the standard configuration. Just have a look.
Otherwise, if that is not the case look at the same time, because due to Corona some networks are sometimes overloaded and can't always offer the same high speed.
