Whenever I want to download an update for a game on my Xbox, it only downloads in about 500 Kb / s down, although it should actually download in Mb.
I have already changed my DNS key to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and deleted the old MAC addresses, etc., as you can find on the whole web pages that are supposed to solve this problem, but nothing has changed. My Wi-Fi connection is not the best, but is it really just that it loads so incredibly slow?
I have this problem with every one of my game updates, which always take at least 2 days until the game is finally updated.
This is annoying extremely, especially because then you can't find a solution on the Internet, only loud pages and videos, where you can, for example. The download speed of 50 Mb / s can increase to 100 Mb / s, or something like that. But with at least 10 Mb / s right, the main thing it downloads within a few hours and not within 2-3 days.
And whatever I want to say, this speed, which is always displayed, is sometimes completely gone, so then there's nothing left, how fast it loads. Is that normal that it fades out over and over again or does that mean it will not load anymore? Because most of the time it actually stays hidden.
Thank you for your question.
If the Internet arrives so slowly at the Xbox I would recommend that you attach a LAN cable, which is connected directly to the router. Thus, you lose through thick walls no Internet performance.
The question is:
What do you have for a connection and a contract.
And how is the connection from your XBox to the Rooter. Eg about Repeeter?
Unfortunately that does not help me because the router is one floor below my room, but thanks anyway.
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the connection and the contract, but my Wi-Fi runs on a repeater.
OK.
He probably also contributes to the problem.
If you have an opportunity to connect your Xbox via Lan cable to your Rooter do that.
If not google times for power-lan. That should help.
