Which controller should I use for my PC?

I wanted to get a new controller for the PC because my old one is already pretty worn out. I have shortlisted 2 but don't quite know where the difference is. One has a cable and the other has an adapter. I'll post the two links to the controllers here. Would be nice if you could help me with my choice and explain to me where the exact differences are.
