7.1 surround sound on Xbox one s?

On the Xbox one s I can choose between DTS Digital Surround and Dolby Digital.
Which of these is 7.1 surround sound audio or which is better for games such as B. COD Warzone by following the steps performed by e.g. B. Coming downstairs to hear better?

If your output device supports it, both can play 7.1 sound.

The 6th or 7th channel is split up by the receiver.

There's no better way to say in general terms. DTS is less compressed than Dolby Digital. But that doesn't necessarily have to sound better.

Even newer and better is DTS X which you can buy via the DTS app.

Likewise the Dolby Access app which Dolby Atmos can play.

The prerequisite for all of this is that your receiver can also process the corresponding formats and that you actually have 7 speakers at 7. 1.

Does that also work with the Logitech G432 which supports 7.1 audio?

Did you connect it via Toslink / optical cable?

A maximum of 5.1 is possible above this.

For 7.1 DTS X or Dolby Atmos you need HDMI or USB.

But in itself it doesn't matter because a 7.1 headset doesn't make much sense anyway.
